What a day. It was a pleasure photographing Kendall and Nick’s wedding in Northeast, PA. Their family cottage is located right along Lake Erie and it was all just as beautiful as I imagined driving in. The day was a warm one, but the wind kept the temperature comfortable. They chose to do a first look with their adored golden pup along the lake followed by some portrait time with their crew and hangs in the cottage before the ceremony started/guests arrived. Danny and the Daddio’s serenaded with familiar tunes and kept the vibe super comfortable before and after the ceremony + into cocktail hour. After they were married by their good friend, guests had the option to get a drink at the bar in the back of the house. They either grabbed a seat at one of the many couches scattered throughout the grass or got some dancing out before the wedding party was officially announced. Parent dances and speeches were emotional. Lots of laughs and some anticipated tears were had. After speeches and throughout dinner, Niito, a band from NC, filled the air with more groovy tunes and continued the fun vibe as the sun set. I absolutely loved freezing these moments in time as some of my favorite songs played in the distance. To close this out, Kendall and Nick were an absolute joy to work with. As fellow creatives and music lovers, working with them was a breeze. The day was one of the more unique ones of my career, full of warmth + positivity, and most importantly crafted exactly the way these two wanted.
