With a number of different jobs and creative projects, my husband Kurt Diserio is a busy man. One of his most time-consuming is working as Business Manager of The Collective Quarterly. A perfectly put together (beautiful) publication about discovery. I recently had the pleasure of documenting their first Portfolio Showcase workshop in Southern Montana. This all-inclusive workshop featured industry creatives that work or have worked with TIME, Patagonia, Wired, Fortune, Men’s Health, Magnum Photos, Bicycling Magazine, and more. Luckily, I was fortunate enough to connect with these awesome people and get to hear their stories. In addition to meeting some really talented photographers whose work inspired me, I was able to get a soul cleansing trip out of this. There’s really no explaining this area of Montana. You have to see it for yourself. Okay, I’ll try to explain… It’s quiet, peaceful, BIG, and visually overwhelming. With mountains covered in snow in the distance looking closer than they actually are, to miles and miles of flat land filled with lovely animals and friendly old souls. I truly had an incredible time. In this blog, I am combining a ton of different photos from my trip. Enjoy.
